What are the characteristics of air ventilation system in factory?

The development of economy promotes establishment and extension of industrial parks. Air ventilation system brings a lively space and supplies fresh air.

In recent years, in face of strong development of economy, many larger industrial parks have been built including factories with areas from a few thousand to tens of thousands square meters along from North to South.

Therefore, the investment demand of foreign investors in construction for a system of industrial parks with large corporations is getting higher. The manufacturing factory area is a place gathering many workers, machines and industrial dust. Demand for creating a safe working environment for the workers’ health is the most necessary in order to improve productivity and ensure health for them. See the following article to understand more about characteristics of factory air ventilation system.

1. Why do not many factories install air ventilation systems ?

Nowadays, not all factories can equip air conditioners with the air ventilation system in the air-conditioned environment due to various reasons such as high investment cost, high electricity consumption. However, for some factories that have special properties, investment in installation of air-conditioned systems is inevitable.

2. Air ventilation system brings ventilation to working environment. For this type of ventilation, the factory should be high, well-insulated and heat-resistant.

Here are some methods for designing ventilation system for the factory:

2.1 Natural ventilation

Natural ventilation is a form of creating the ventilation for the working environment by arranging at the entrance to take fresh air and release toxic substances reasonably, thereby helping air circulate in the best way.

Advantage of this method is low investment cost for air ventilation system in factory and electricity savings for engine .

Disadvantage is that its efficiency is not high and depends on wind direction and space, as well.

Method: arrange the positions for air intake and release symmetrically for the best efficiency. Especially, the air ventilation must be arranged reasonably with walls and to prevent rain. A ball mounted on a roof can be used to enhance air convection.

2.2 Mechanical ventilation without use of wind passage

This method is similar to the natural ventilation, but their difference  is that instead of arranging the windproof system, we will arrange a exhaust fan on the wall. On the opposite direction, place the windproof systems with a dust filter net or a technology filter to take wind outside in. When the exhaust fan works, the pressure difference inside the factory appears, then fresh air outside will automatically get in to replace emissions.

2.3 Mechanical ventilation with use of wind passage

This is one of the methods that take directly fresh air outside going inside by a mechanical ventilation passage. When use this system, you completely feel secure about the nature of environment. Besides, this system also helps you save cost and voltage for usage.

2.4 Ventilation in combination with factory cooling

The ventilation system in combination with factory cooling is being used mostly because of its great advantages compared to air conditioning system. Especially, the investment cost and electricity consumption cost is only equal to 1/10 in comparison to use of air conditioning system .

For guarantee of efficiency, the air conditioning system must cool entire space. However, the factory cooling system will cool or you may just need to cool some necessary working places and high heat-generating environments such as mechanical factories, printing factories.
